Where To Buy WO100 Savi Office System

Great headset --- I have used a CS50/55 headset for 5 years, but wanted a headset that could do both telephone and video/computer calls.

But am shocked at how many negative reviews there were. This is an excellent headset. Especially after I've used the Jabra version (9350, I think) and couldn't make it work well. I think that might be the problem, this type of product is a fairly sophisticated piece of electronics.

See below for pros/cons. But range and sound quality were excellent; same as my CS50/55. It's better than the JABRA, because the JABRA was very wavy in sound. Like the JABRA, range in an office building environment can be about 300 feet I'm guessing.

PROS:
Comfortable. As comfortable as these things can be. The problem usually is it needs to be tight on your head so it doesn't move and create muffled microphone sounds and/or wavy earpiece sounds. The earpiece looks weird, but had no issues with the fit of it. This is fine.

Switchable on headset. Unlike Jabra, this can be switched from computer to telephone on the headset without the base.

Switches fast. JABRA used to have a 2-3 second delay when switching (which it could only do on the base).

Both telephone and computer at same time. Nice to have ability to listen to computer sounds at same time as telephone if multi-tasking. Not available on JABRA

Uses HL10. The same old HL10 lifter can be reused from your old system with this one. My 5 year old one works perfectly.

Can be used on either ear. Inexplicably, this isn't true for the JABRA for most of the wearing options. This one can be used on either ear. (The JABRA only really worked on the right ear and I'm deaf in that ear).

CONS:
Is different than Plantronics other headsets in feel. If you're used to the old stuff, you'll need to reprogram your brain how it works. For instance the mute is now holding the volume down button down, not pushing the volume piece in. Not a big deal, but I think why people have been giving bad reviews.

I'm used to the over the ear part of the headset with the loop with the CS50/55. Most people didn't like this one on the CS55, but I did. Nonetheless, it is a small step backwards if this is what you're used to --- you might find yourself switching to over the head or behind the head like I did.

PS. I didn't use the software, so no input on that, but it's a 3rd way to change other than headset and base.

I specifically picked out this shredder because it was suppose to shred CD/DVD and it gets jammed every single time you put a CD in. I tried multiples just in case it was just bad luck on that first disk. It shreds paper fantastically but I could have gotten a regular everyday shredder that did just paper for a hell of a lot cheaper. Definitely not worth the price don't buy it.

Cheap Microsoft Office Groove 2007

After struggling with shared folders, Intraspect, FTP and file synchronization, I've come to the conclusion that Groove is simply a better idea. It works best when you have a group of users who need to interact frequently around a set of topics. Groove workspaces make it easy to share files, to hold threaded discussions, to manage task lists and calendars, and to chat with colleagues in the same workspace.

The technology is peer-to-peer - that means there's a copy of everything on the machines of every user invited to participate in a workspace. This has many advantages - automatic backups, and the ability to work offline are two of the most important to me.

When I started working with Groove (beta), I was in the UK, with a colleague in Bangalore and one in San Jose (CA). We were all able to stay in sync without sending documents by e-mail. Groove is intelligent in that it automatically synchronizes files using an encrypted link.

Because of the peer-to-peer nature of the system, you do need to be online at the same time as your colleague in order to sync. The Groove server may eliminate this requirement - I haven't used it.

Groove appears to be secure, but I am no expert in that - Microsoft has lots of information on the subject.

Another great use for Groove is when you have multi-vendor projects - for example using an agency to do graphic design. You can use Groove to communicate securely through your firewalls. The communications are limited to the content of your Groove workspaces, so it's not intrinsically a risk.

However, from a corporate perspective, there is a risk. Groove makes it easy to invite "outsiders" to access potentially private corporate information. This means that a malicious user could transfer information to a third party in ways that may be difficult for their employer to detect. Of course there are many ways to do that, but this will probably be a concern to some IT organizations.

In summary, Groove has encouraged open and frequent communication across three continents, and has allowed effective sharing and backup of key documents without cluttering our e-mail. Five stars!

A PAPER DOLL PHARAOH

Here's how the paper costume for the Queen of Egypt was created for an opera star who performed an aria - Piangero from Julius Caesar at Opera Night in Costume Northport NY on May 2, 2008. Animated illustrations and Costume © Doris Rowe 2008 Directions: Here is a flow of ideas to show how a paper costume can be made after over many days of thinking, and plenty doodling! Buy two large sheets of strong corrugated board from a Fed Ex shop - two flattened boxes ... 40 inches long. Draw pattern and cut out with sharp blade. Shellac both sides of corrugated shapes to prevent warping and to enhance tone. Sketch out with black marker patterns on two skirt panels and fill in with colors (two side panels, one front panel, collar, and headband.) Construct falcon head with egg carton or other means. Spray gold and attach with hot glue to front of headband. Draw feathers and mark with color patterns, freehand. Don't worry about being exact! Slice (score) half way through corrugated board at 1.5 inches intervals to allow for bend on collar. Score for tummy and knee bends. Convex or concave bend will allow for sitting comfortably. Affix with hot glue the white ankh shape to front of collar. Lace reverse sides of corrugated board shapes with hot glue to strengthen folds and prevent tearing. Assemble panels to fit girth of the model. Carefully grommet two halves of skirt panels to front panel about four inches apart. Shirr 36" paper tablecloth yardage for sides of apron skirt. First off- super sweet and willing to try anything. I'd ask Cace to do a little something and he'd cheerfully say, "Yeah, sure! Whatever you want!!" Dream groom for me. And dream groom for Melissa I'm sure. He was so happy he was borderline giddy, especially right after the ceremony when he couldn't stop laughing. It's obvious these two are smitten with each other, and perfect for each other. Melissa was ravishing in her dress. Oh, the dress. When I saw it, my first reaction was, "I want it!" which is entirely ridiculous. But the texture and glow of the fabric, the poofy flower under the bust, the unique cut, plus the veil and flower in her hair...gorgeous! It was a perfect centerpiece to the "look" of the day- rustic country done with lavish elegance. Passionflower Designs executed the theme and did such an overwhelming job tying it all together. There were so many details; I want to share some of them with you: - You saw her programs and a favor in my recent video post. - The altar was decorated with dozens and dozens of candles, so it looked liked fireflies twinkling up there among the flowers during the ceremony. - There were groupings of paper cut-out birds tied to twine dangling from the reception tent. I really enjoy using this product, the install driver did not give me any problems, and it reads pressure quite well. The mouse that it came with is pretty useless because I'm used to the way my old mouse works for some things, but I didn't buy the product for the mouse so that doesn't really matter to me.

The buttons on the pen itself are a bit "sticky" but since actual clicking is done with tapping I don't mind so much, it's just that sometimes when you go to trigger scrolling, the button won't actually click down, but since scrolling and right-clicking is not the purpose of the product it bothers me very little.

Oh, and remember to change the battery when you get it, the pre-installed battery is already dead.

Overall I give this product four stars, because even though it has a couple of kinks it gets the job done and overall fulfills what is looked for in a pen tablet for the price that it is at.

Original HP 23 Tri-color Ink Cartridge in Retail Packaging Buy Now

I'm glad I read the previous review of the HP 23 color cartridge. I had just put in a new color cartridge in my trusty HP OfficeJet T45 only to find that it would no longer print yellow. I tried a spare HP 23 color cartridge - same result. Color photos came out maroon or blue. Since I was getting the exact same result from two never-used color cartridges, I concluded that I was going to be shopping for a new color printer.

Then I read the review about checking the expiration date on the back of the cartridge box. I had bought several HP 23 color cartridges some years back and never used them. When I checked their expiration dates, all but one were at least a year past their expiration dates. Fortunately I had one color cartridge left that was still good, so I installed it and tried it. Voila! It printed fine.

This will teach me to avoid stocking up on color cartridges on the assumption that they'll last forever. At about $35 a pop, I was out over $100 in color cartridges. Too bad HP can't find some way of prolonging their yellow pigments. I hated to throw out three never-used color inkjet cartridges, but better that than buying a new printer.

This 2 line phone was purchased for the purpose of being able to answer 2 phone lines coming into my home from one phone. It was easy and worked right out of the box.

The speakerphone is clear and easy to work.

My only negative comment is the horrible squeal I get when I hang up the phone. It may be my phone line and not the phone.
