Years ago I was a fan of HP and Xerox printers, but they are terribly expensive to use as ink costs a fortune. Switched to Brother a few years back and have been very pleased with their ink jets in general, starting with the MFC 210. Bought this model several months ago and it has worked perfect for us from Day 1. Ink is very cheap. We print about 300 pages per month, about 80% in color and 20% black and white. Printer was easy to set up, FAX works perfect, copy function is great and have even used it at times to print photos (I would not recommend it for printing lots of photos however or printing photos on a regular basis). Ink cartridges are cheap and easy to change. Very pleased with this purchase and would buy again if needed.
